Kim has amazing hair and not to mention a LOT of it as it goes nearly all the way to her backside!  For hair this long and if you are wanting to wear it all out then te right hair preparation is KEY!  With that much hair the sheer weight of it will be your enemy to your luscious curls and waves, and here on the Gold Coast beach weddings are popular so with the added elements of wind and humidity from the sea air making sure your hair will hold as long as possible is important.

I always spray each section of hair that I am about to curl with @whitesands 'liquid texture' in firm hold.  If there is a lot of frizz that I need to knock out I will use a flat iron on the hair first to shooth it out, then I will go ahead and wrap the hair around a hot barrel curling iron.  then I will pin the curl in place to cool down and continue on and section --spray--set the next curl and so on till done.  Once all the hair is done I will usually then do the makeup and then to finish go ahead and take out all the hair and brush it out to take out any look or feel of the setting product and to get a soft curl or wave.

Our bride wanted to feel comfortable and look like herself as she was having an intimate wedding on the beach at Currumbin with close family and friends.  I used soft cool tone grey eyeshadows with silver shimmer highlights were used to bring out our brides beautiful blue eyes.  Finished off with false lashes of course and a soft pink blush and soft pink shimmer lipstick to keep the look and feel very low key and not too overdone.

Todays weddiing was to be the beach at Salt, Kingscliff in Casuarina NSW.  Our lovely bridesmaid had the most healthy and gorgeous Auburn hair with brown eyes, she was always going to be stunner no matter what we did!  With the location being a beachside wedding and overall theme being relaxed and easy going the bride wanted her girs to have a natural look to suit.  Toghether we decided the best way to approach the makeup was to harmonize the overall group look and to use the same natural colour palette with each of the girls.

Our bride had the most flawless skin that I've ever worked with and so quite understandably she wanted as little to no foundation base used at all.  We instead focused on her eyes, she already had the most striking blue coloured eyes that I needed to do very little except accentuate her almond shape eyes with full strip lashes adding some extra long flase lashes in the outer corner.  We then used slightly smokey eyeshadow colours all kept close to the lashline and lid area and blending above the creae with natural tones.
